Fender American Standard Strat, 2007, butterscotch finish. This is a bit more orange than some other butterscotch guitars around, it's got a bit of a Big-Mac-cheese look that's pretty unique. This era of Am Standards are well regarded for quality and features; this one is stacks up nicely. The neck is a sweet, slim modern-C shape; slightly slimmer than a tradition '62 profile and finished in a super smooth satin finish; perfect for moving around quickly on. The pickups have been switched for a Fender Noiseless Strat set, which are bright, sparkly and extremely low on hum. The spanky, rich attack is on hand in spades; this has the long-admired charm that's kept the Strat at the centre of the guitar universe for seven decades. You can't go too wrong here!

Cosmetic condition notes: Minor finish wear. There's a couple of minor nicks on the end and back of the headstock. The neck is pretty clean with minor play wear only. The back of the body has a chip on the edge near the rear strap pin and a few minor dimples here and there. The front has a chip on the shoulder carve and bottom horn as well as a few marks around from the knobs. Nothing too nasty. Overall: good condition (7/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 10/46s.
