Fender American Standard Strat, blonde, made in USA 2000. When most folks think of a blonde Fender, the Tele comes to mind, but dang... a maple board Strat wearing a slightly transparent blonde finish is a beautiful thing indeed. This has a comfy fairly slim neck, a pretty lightweight body and the trademark sturdy American hardware, so it's unassuming and agreeable in the hands. There's plenty of zing and clarity on the top end, it's a classic Strat-sound with a nice balance of snap and roundness. It'll look good at your place, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some dimples on the end and a chip in the lacquer on the bottom edge near the Fender logo. The neck has some slight lacquer shrinkage around the skunk stripe and some dimples on the back, but it's clean and smooth in the hands. The back has some dimples on the bottom horn and around the cavity, as well as some light scuffs around the body, mostly on the belly carve. The sides have some minor scuffs on the horns, nothing nasty. The front has some dimples around the jack, scuffs int he elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets have some normal wear but there's plenty of height left and no major buzz issues, 7/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
