Fender Am Standard Tele, sunburst, made in USA 2008. The American Standard series launched in late 1986 and was made right up til 2016, enjoying a sturdy reputation the whole time. The 2008 version of the model copped a couple of really nice changes: a thinner finish, stamped six saddle bridge and some excellent Custom Shop pickups. It sounds awesome: jangly and tuneful on the top end, warm and wide through the midrange and juicy and plump down low. It loves a big open chord or a snazzy big bend, it's very convincing all around. The neck is a comfy modern C style shape, and the body is pretty lightweight and nicely balanced. This looks pretty classic and simple, but it really delivers the goods.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has some scuffs around the ferrules and on the top horn and along the back edge, nothing nasty. The sides have minor dimples on the top horn and elbow area, as well as some dents and scuffs near the jack. The front has some dimples near the knobs, scuffs along the back edge and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
