Fender American Vintage '57 Precision, sunburst, made in USA 2002. I'm not always the biggest fan of sunburst, but if it's 50s style 'two color sunburst' with a gold anodized guard, I'm all in. This looks so good: that winning combo, plus a beautifully aged golden maple fretboard, spaghetti logo and some natural wear from play... yum. It's fairly lightweight for a P, which is handy, and makes for a responsive, punchy feel. The tone is fat and full, with a generous fundamental note, plenty of rich creamy mids and a nice little sizzle on the top end to make sure the notes come out clearly. It does that P-punch so well: it will round out the low end of just about any band with swagger and confidence. P=phormidable.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and bottom edge, checking lines on the front near the end and some scuffs and dimples on the back near the G tuner. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, it's been sanded back to a satin finish and also has some dimples and rub wear on the back and some pitting on the board. The back has scuffs, hazing and dimples on the top horn, scuffs and dimples on the bottom horn, dimples and rub wear on the belly carve, scuffs in the elbow area, back edge and bottom corner as well as some surface scratches in the middle of the body. The sides have scuffs on the top horn, scuffs and a dent in the elbow area, scuffs and dimples near the jack and some scuffs and a dent on the bottom horn. The front has scuffs on the top horn and elbow area, a small chip and some rub wear near the bridge, dimples near the jack and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
