Fender American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster Sunburst 2003
Fender AVRI '62 Jazzmaster, sunburst, made in USA 2003. What a snazzy Jazzy. This beauty dates to the mid-00s and pays homage to the original 1962 version of the model: spaghetti decal, slab rosewood fretboard, three ply tort guard and the classic offset vibrato bridge and dual circuit electronics. It's got a bit of natural wear, and feels like a played-in guitar: that neck is a treat. It's a slim profile carved from a very dark piece of rosewood and some very tightly grained maple, and it's a fast friend indeed. The pickups are very true-to-form: open and airy through the midrange, sparkly and crystal clear on the top, rounded out with a fast and tuneful bass. It's hard to pass up a guitar that looks this good, so if you've been hunting for the right Jazz, this one is has the pizzazz.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and bottom edge, scuffs on the top edge and front around the decals and some minor dimples on the back near the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, just some dimples and rub wear and a patch of stand burn on the back only. The back has dimples on the horns, scuffs along the bottom edge and belly carve and some scuffs and surface scratches on the back edge. The sides have cracks in the finish only around the heel, dimples and scuffs on the top horn, some bald patches, minor chips and scuffs in the elbow area and along the back edge around to near the jack and some dimples on the bottom horn. The front has bald patches on the back edge, elbow area and bottom horn, dimples around the knobs, tailpiece, and top edge and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
