Fender '57 Strat, capri orange, crafted in Japan 1999-02. This is very, very orange indeed. Capri orange is one of those seldom seen but frequently admired finishes; it's perfect for dividing opinions and distracting from your facial features on stage. We've certainly not had another Strat in this finish before; it's exceedingly rare. Aside from looking fantastic, this has all the good things going on. The neck is comfortable and feels nicely 'played in', paired with the lightweight and acoustically loud body, this is a delight in the hands. The USA pickups dole out a sparkly, spanky Strat tone with tight bass that's extremely responsive to varying touch. Grab yourself this Strat, some Fanta, some butter chicken, a Boss DS-1 and a big Orange Rockoverb and declare yourself the mayor of Orange, California.
