Fender '57 Strat, vintage white, crafted in Japan 1999-02. What a creamy, dreamy time this is. This CIJ era beauty references the 1957 Strat, so you get a gold spaghetti logo, Kluson style tuners, a chunky neck with a maple board, the single ply white guard, stamped saddles and a chimey set of three single coil pickups. It's hard to believe this guitar is twenty five years old, it really is in remarkable shape with hardly a mark on it. The neck is fat: it's as fat as any Fender Japan I can remember playing, so if you like a baseball bat style shape, this one is for you. The pickups are bright and smooth, with a lovely chime and sparkle on the neck and middle and a surprising creamy kick on the bridge. It's hard to outclass a white Strat with a maple board, and this is classier than most.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs and a dimple on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has dimples in the elbow area and around the trem cavity. The sides have dimples in the elbow area and some small dents near the jack. The front has dimples near the jack and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
