Fender Jazz, vintage white, crafted in Japan 1999-02. Creamy, dreamy and delicious. Here we have Fender Japan's take on the classic 1962 Jazz Bass, so you get the traditional gold decal, slim 38mm nut, fast neck, rosewood slab fretboard, red tort guard and vintage style pickups. It's a great combo: this plays fast and easy and is very responsive in the hands. The tone on offer has plenty of growl and snarl, with a generous midrange kick and a fast, tight low end. The white finish has yellowed and mellowed and been blessed with a couple of sticker marks over the years, so it has the look of being played but not disrespected and has a certain mellow glow to it. It's every bit as good as it looks, and it looks... good.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor dimples on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, very minor dimples on the back only. The back has some sticker fade marks between the neck plate and back edge, as well as some dimples around the neck plate and in the elbow area and some light scuffs on the back edge and bottom horn. The sides have some minor scuffs on the top horn, dimples in the waist and elbow areas, some dents and scuffs along the back edge and near the jack and some dimples on the bottom horn. The front has a dent near the jack, dimples around the bridge and in the elbow area, a sticker fade mark on the end of the top horn and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)

Playing Condition Notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
