Fender '62 Reissue Strat, made in Japan 2013, shell pink. This is one of those finishes that seldom comes up and always turns heads. It's got a really sweet smooth 60s aesthetic; shell pink certainly deserves it's place among the classic Strat custom colours like surf green and sonic blue. The slim 62-profile neck is perfect in the hands, it's a breeze to move around on. The stock pickups deliver clear, precise notes with a heap of spank and body; it certainly delivers the charismatic Strat-tone. The lacquer has aged a little to a lovely peachy hue, which pops perfectly against the rosewood board. This is certainly a good looker, and we never manage to hold onto guitars in this finish for long, so... claim a glamorous new friend for yourself while you can.
Model: Fender'62 Reissue Stratocaster (ST62)
Made: Japan, 2013 (serial JD13013208)
Finish: shell pink (SLP), 3-ply cream guard
Body: basswood
Neck: maple with rosewood board, dot inlays

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has some minor scuffs on the end, otherwise pretty clean. Back of the neck has a couple of little marks, behind the nut and second fret, but you can't really feel them. The back is pretty clean; the backplate is missing and there's some widespread very light dimples and 'buckle rash' scratches, nothing nasty. The sides have a couple of marks; some light marks on the bottom horn and a couple of dings just up from the rear strap pin. The front is pretty clean, just a couple of dimples behind the bridge and some play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have just a nudge of wear, they're in great shape, 8.5/10. Wearing fresh 10/46s.
