Fender '62 Reissue Strat, candy apple red, crafted in Japan 1999-02. Candy apple really looks good on a Strat, it's one of those 'oh yeah' finishes, especially with a few miles on the clock. This has a nice depth to the colour from age; it pops nicely against the mint guard and cream plastics. The '62 neck profile is always an instant-win: slim, round, comfortable, classic... it's your new best friend in seconds. This doles out the classic Strat spank with gleeful abandon: thick juicy attack, sparkly treble; bright and snappy with plenty of body. This ticks all the boxes, it'll surely fill that Strat-shaped hole in your collection brilliantly. Plus, red goes faster, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. There's a minor ding on the end of the headstock. Neck is pretty clean. The back has some scratches, nothing nasty; they're concentrated just behind and in front of the cavity cover. There's some scuffs and marks around the sides, mostly around from the knobs and on the shoulder carve area. The front is cleaner; just a few marks on the top horn and behind the bridge and some mild play scratches. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have some light wear, there's plenty of height left; 7.5/10 for life left. Setup with fresh 10/46 strings.
