Fender '62 Strat, sunburst, crafted in Japan 1997-00. This is a great little vintage style Strat. The '62 style neck is a slim, rounded vintage C shape, which is very easy to get along with. The rosewood slab board is dark and streaky and looks great too. The USA pickups deliver plenty of brightness and sparkle, paired with an understated midrange and a fast, talkative attack that means all your notes come out with plenty of nuance and clarity. The classic sunburst never seems to go out of style, and complemented with the spaghetti logo and aged plastics it has a certain understated visual strength. Yep, that'll work!
