Fender '62 Strat, vintage white, crafted in Japan 2004-5. This is a comfy and agreeable little number, I'm a fan. The neck shape on these '62 models is awesome: it's a comfy, rounded vintage C, on the slim side but not shred-skinny... just right. This one has had some crispy, hi-fi single coils dropped in, so it's a little clearer and sparklier than a standard example. The neck+middle position has also been wired up to be out of phase, so you can get all those cool dub-style quacks and pips. The other positions all work normally, so you can get that bell like sweetness on the neck pickup and the angular, creamy snark on the bridge position too. The white finish has yellowed and mellowed to a delicious lemon cheesecake hue, and paired with the tort guard and dark rosewood board, this looks super slick. All up: very enjoyable, très chic.

The back has a dent in the belly carve area, scratches around the cavity, scuffs in the bottom corner and some dimples in the elbow area. The back cover is missing. The sides have some dents in the elbow area, dents and scuffs near the jack and some dimples on the bottom horn. The front has some dimples on the top horn, elbow area, back edge and near the jack, as well as some play wear on the guard and horn. Overall: good condition (7/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets have some normal wear incluing minor pitting, but they're fairly even with no major buzz issues, 6/10 for fret life left. Setup with fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
