Fender Mustang, sonic blue, made in Japan 2010-11. This is a punchy little charmer, no doubt about it. The Mustang shape was originally a student model, with a short scale, slim neck and trimmed down tremolo making for very easy playing. The neck on this  is carved to a comfy slim C, which combined with the lightweight body makes  it so much fun in the hands. The previous owner has done some mods, so this is blessed with a classy pair of USA pickups and clever series/parallel wiring options. It packs a bit more punch and clarity than a stock Fender Japan model, it's got a lovely thick juicy tone. Now, sonic blue... I don't think I've met many folks who disagree: what a cool finish. This rules, you want it. By you, I mean me, but hey.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a couple of minor chips in the lacquer on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has a couple of very minor dimples in the elbow area and along the belly carve, no major marks. The sides have some dimples on the elbow area and some light scuffs near the jack. The front has some light scuffs around the tailpiece , dimples near the knobs and some light scuffs on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, intonation is good, neck is straight, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have very little wear, 9/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
