Fender '70 Precision Bass, olympic white, made in Japan 2010-11. Good enough for Dee Dee Ramone, goo enough for you, right? These '70 style P-basses always turn heads around here and we nab them whenever we can. You get a fun neck: it's 40mm at the nut, so halfway between a traditional vintage P and a Jazz Bass. That makes it just a whisker easier to play, combined with a lightweight alder body, this is super slick and simple in the hands. The USA pickup offers a little extra definition and sparkle than the standard MIJ offerings, so this has a sweet balance of classic P-punch through the lows, growly mids and chirpy highs. The white finish has yellowed a little and copped a handful of minor knocks, so you know it's a players' bass rather than a case queen. If you like them simple and sleek with heaps of grunt, this will surely deliver.

The front has a little dent on the bottom edge near the volume knob, some dimples near the jack and around the bridge, as well as some standard play wear on the guard and horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
