Fender '70 P Bass, vintage white, crafted in Japan 1999-02. It's hard to beat a creamy white P, and this is a very good one. The 1970 iteration of the Precision Bass had the bold black CBS-era logos, a black pickguard, single slotted bridge and a slightly slimmer neck than older models, with a 40mm nut. This sleek creature gets all those appointments to match, and is dressed to kill in gorgeous aged white. The USA pickup and alder body lend this a bit of extra teeth and snap than other MIJ examples, but it's still got that fat, warm, punchy P growl and absolutely does the trick well. There's a lot to like here, and these never seem to last long. Phantastic.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a dent on the end and dimples on the bass side. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, light rub wear on the back only. The back has rub wear on the top horn, scuffs and dents in the elbow area, dimples along the back edge and bottom corner and some minor discolouration around the whole body. The sides have scuffs on the top horn, dimples and scuffs in the elbow area, dents and scuffs near the jack and rub wear on the bottom horn. The front has extra holes from the removed thumb rest and scuffs around that area, dimples in the elbow area and near the knobs, minor discolouration around the whole body and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 strings.
