Fender '71 Tele, crafted in Japan 2014, US blonde. It's funny, but "US Blonde" is a Japan-market-only finish... go figure. This looks awesome: tight ash grain lines peep through the blonde, which pops perfectly against the rosewood board and bold black logos. The neck is a rounded U-shape, which sits nicely in the hands and works especially well for rhythm stuff. The pickups deliver a chiming, open take on the classic Tele-tang; it's warm and wide and will translate effectively across a bunch of genres. Simple, attractive, effective... more than I can say for myself unfortunately!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor dimples on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has some scuffs on the top horn as well as widespread light surface scratches and dimples around the whole body, nothing too nasty. The sides have some dimples on the top horn, a couple of minor chips on the back edge and some dimples near the jack, nothing nasty. The front has a scuff on the top horn, some dimples and scuffs around the elbow area and behind the bridge and some normal play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (7.5/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets are in good shape, just some normal wear but they're pretty even with no major buzz issues; 7/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46s.
