Fender '75 Jazz, fiesta red, crafted in Japan 1995-6. This, my friends, is a killer bass. These '75 style Js were the priciest and best appointed non-signature model bass the 1996 catalog; it's certainly a premium offering. You get a deluxe proper USA ash body and USA pickups; paired with a maple board there's an abundance of growl, cut and punch on offer. There's a really tasty mix of warmth, low-end fatness and tight, hard hitting attack here, it's a superb Jazz with all the tone you could want. This model usually only comes in natural or sunburst, so the fiesta red you see here is very unusual. Paired with the aged maple board and classic white guard, the summery red looks delightful. The neck is very sturdy and reassuring in the hands; it's a lovely piece of maple. This will certainly match or better just all but the absolute fanciest of USA basses; it's a lovely thing. Awesome.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor marks on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has a handful of light scuffs and surface scratches, most notably on the bottom back corner, nothing nasty. The sides are pretty clean, just some minor scuffs near the jack and on the bottom horn. The front is also nice and clean, just some dimples on the shoulder and minor play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear only, plenty of height left and no major buzz issues; 7/10 for life left. Set up with fresh 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
