Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass, dolphin grey, crafted in Japan 2004-5. Mmmmmm.... sleek. The Aero J is a cult favourite and is definitely one of the most iconic models to come out Fender Japan; they've got a dedicated fan base. The combo of a slick satin finish slim neck, the lightweight carve top body and the P/J pickup combo offer a whole lot of tonal punch at your fingertips with very little effort. The sound is fairly modern and scooped; there's a little more thump and cut than a regular vintage style Jazz. The grey finish looks tasty against the rosewood board and binding; it's a very attractive item. These don't usually hang around too long so if you like it, put a ring on it?
