Fender Aerodyne Strat in black, full scale version, crafted in Japan 2004. This sleek number is all sorts of sassy. The Aero Strat wins a lot of admirers for it's bound, carved top and matching headstock, and rightly so; this is surely a very pretty guitar. The neck is finished in satin for ease of movement and is showing off some pretty birdseye grain; it's a really nice thing in the hands. The lightweight body means you trade a little bit of brightness for extra lows and low-mids, so overall, this has a slightly deeper, swampier voice than a standard Strat... it's especially satisfying on the bridge and bridge/middle selector positions. This is a tasty modern twist on the classic design, and it works a treat.

The sides have a few scuffs and dents, most notably on the bottom horn, near the knobs and in the shoulder area. The front is pretty good, just some marks behind the bridge and near the edge on the shoulder carve, up from the bridge pickup and some normal play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: good condition (7.5/10)
