Fender Japan Deluxe-8 lap steel, made in Japan 1993-4. How cool, right? These were made for a couple of years in the mid 90s, and they're really nicely done. It's an eight string, so you can do all sorts of fun tunings and have a couple of strings in unison etc for all those good wobbly vibes. The pair of pickups hum cancel, so it's pretty quiet and practical plugged in. The case and legs etc all work nicely, so there's no practical issues with it really. The sound is awesome: thick, chiming, bright, open and full of harmonics and zeal. These are pretty unusual, so if you've been after one, here's your shot.

Cosmetic Condition Notes: minor finish wear. There's some dimples on the headstock end and treble side of the body, and some scuffs around the logo and knobs on the top side.

Playing Condition Notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh strings and tuned to an open C
