(SOLD) Fender Japan FSR '50s Stratocaster Lake Placid Blue w/ Stripe 2018
Fender 50s Strat, special run lake placid blue with comp stripe, made in Japan 2018. These were made briefly in 2018; there was a couple of different colour combos but the idea was the same: add a 70s-Mustang-style 'comp stripe' to a classic Strat. The Lake Placid/Ice Blue combo is awesome; it's very eye catching. Aside from the fresh aesthetic, this is a banger of a player. The moderately chunky 'D' neck profile sits nicely in the hands; it balances well against the body and has a certain old world charm. The recent version of the ST-Single pickups are great; the tone is super clear and balanced. There's barely a mark on this one, it may as well be brand new. Life is better with racing stripes!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock and neck are pretty clean, no major marks. Back and sides are clean, no major marks. Front ha a minor dimple on the back edge behind the bridge and some light play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets look brand new, 10/10 for life left. Setup with fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
