Fender Jag, black, crafted in Japan 2004-5. The Jag launched in 1962 and has been a pretty good candidate for the coolest production model guitar basically continually ever since. This one is wearing a crisp coat of black, which paired with the mint guard and dark streaky rosewood board, looks a treat. The classic combo of a slim, rounded, short scale neck, the perfectly weighted offset body and the cheeky trem make for a superbly easy playing experience. Add in a good dose of that recognisable Jag-jangle, with chiming snappy treble and a percussive, thumping bass and short natural sustain, you've got an absolute riot of a party on your hands. Add a fuzz and a short delay and get your weekend started properly.
