Fender Jag, candy apple red, crafted in Japan 1999-02. This really doesn't need a description, the pictures surely speak for themselves. But hey, here goes, right? The Jaguar always looks good, and in bright shiny candy apple, complete with matching headstock, it's quite the heartthrob. Combined with slightly aged creamy plastics, heaps of chrome and a dark, streaky rosewood board... bellissimo. This one has had a Mustang style bridge dropped in to save string slippage, and after a setup, it's playing super smoothly. The combination of the perfectly weighted offset body, slim round neck, short scale and the cheeky trem make for a whole lot of fun in the hands. Tone-wise, this has heaps of jangle, but with a punchy attack and tasty thick low end on tap; perfect with a mountain of gain and ambient effects. Or, just turn up the springs in your amp and dial in the sound of summer. There we go, you didn't need all that, did you? The pics would've been fine after all!
