Fender Jazzmaster, burgundy mist, crafted in Japan 2004-5. Need I say more, really? This is gorgeous, through and through. Burgundy mist is a cool 60s era custom colour, but in Fender Japan land, it was a non-catalog option that pops up once in a blue moon on limited run models. The coppery pink hue, with the matching headstock, classic curves, dark rosewood board... what a time. It feels good too: nice and light, comfy slim round neck, well balanced; it's great. The tone is classic crispy JM jangle: very bright and snappy, crunchy airy mids, understated fast bass. There's a lot to like here, and I wouldn't count on seeing another one in a hurry. Juicy!
