(SOLD) Fender Japan Jazzmaster JM66-85 Vintage White 2007
Fender Jazzmaster, vintage white, crafted in Japan 2006-8. No one is gonna want this, right? Just kidding, everyone wants a creamy white Jazzy. It's fair enough too: just look at it... what a gorgeous piece of equipment. The creamy vintage white finish has a few knocks and bumps to lend it some authenticity, and matched with the dark tort guard and the streaky rosewood board, it looks stupendous. The offset body is perfectly weighted and the neck is a very agreeable slim 60s C, so it's a very comfy guitar to play, plus we know how to set these up properly so it'll arrive playing nicely. The tone is great: heaps of ping and hi-fi crisp clarity, balanced by a warm and punchy attack. It's perfect smattered with gain and ambience, but it'll clean up nicely too. Heckn' Jazzmtastic.

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has some minor marks on the end and front. Neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has a decent dent in the belly carve area and near the rear strap pin, as well as a few light scuffs and dimples around the body. The sides have minor dimples and scuffs around the whole body, especially near the jack, as well as a couple of little chips near the front strap pin and bottom corner. The front has some dimples near the jack and behind the tailpiece, as well as a dent in the elbow area and some scuffs from play on the guard and horns. Overall: good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some normal wear; there's the start of some very minor pitting but they don't need immediate attention; 6/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 11/49s.
