Fender Japan Jazzmaster JM66/ALG Sunburst 2007

Fender Japan Jazzmaster, sunburst, crafted in Japan 2006-8. The sunburst Jazzy is a classic, but add a gold guard... sheesh, that looks pretty good, aye. The gold guard complements the creamy plastics and deep amber of the sunburst finish nicely, it looks superb. The neck has been sanded back to a slick satin feel, so it's super quick to move around on and has a certain luxurious feel to the touch. It's a responsive, snappy player, you can really feel your notes ringing around in the well-balanced offset body. Plugged in, this has the classic Jazzmaster chime: heaps of definition and a crisp, clear attack. The iconic dual circuit electronics allow you to dial in a sticky, juicy thick rhythm tone and switch instantly to a snappy, cuts-the-mix lead tone... heaps of fun. These gold-guard models seldom pop up at a reasonable dime never last long, so if you've already got five fuzz pedals and Jetstar fleet worth of delay in your rig, here's your new best bud.
