Fender JM-Champ 10, sunburst, made in Japan 1997 approx. What a cool thing this is! It's basically exactly what it looks like: a mini Jazzmaster with a built-in amp. The slider switch moves the internal amp from off to clean to dirty. As you'd expect, the internal speaker doesn't exactly match a vintage Fender Twin or Marshall Plexi, but it's handy for jamming and certainly a fun novelty. The output jack allows you to also use a 'real' amp too. Plugged in, it sounds pretty darn good. You get a 24" scale, so it's not a 'toy' once you hook it up to your real rig and get going. The neck has a tidy worn satin finish, so it feels smooth and is an easy companion. These weren't made in huge numbers and certainly don't come up that often, so nab a collectible little oddity and have some fun.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has a couple of light marks on the end and bottom edge. The neck is pretty clean and feels smooth; there's a couple of dimples on the back but nothing nasty. The back has some checking lines and a couple of bubbles in the finish and some minor scuffs. The sides have a couple of little marks: dimples on the shoulder, little chip near the jack, minor dimples on the bottom horn. The front is pretty clean, just some dimples behind the bridge and some play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. There's some minor fret wear only, they're in great shape; 8/10 for life left. All electrics tested and working properly. Note that the internal speaker can be a little finicky on the distorted setting. Wearing fresh 11/49s.
