Fender Lefty '62 Jazz Bass, sunburst, made in Japan 2010-11. Sometimes we neglect our southpaw sisters and brothers, but we're trying to right the wrongs of the past. This is a simple and effective vintage style J, with all those classic sixties lines and a smart burst finish. The dark tort guard and streaky rosewood board really make the finish pop, it's understated and classy but has a certain radiance to it. The tone is classic J: immediate, punchy attack with a rounded low end and a snappy, defined top end. It'll cover a lot of ground without breaking a sweat and always look the part doing it.

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has some minor marks on the end and bottom edge. The neck has no major marks. The back has widespread minor scuffs around the edge but no major marks. The sides have some light scuffs on the elbow area and a little chip and some dimples around from the jack. The front has some extra screws from a since-removed bridge cover, very minor scuffs behind the bridge and in the elbow area as well as some standard play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some minor wear but are looking great, 8/10 for life left. Set up with fresh 45/105s.
