Fender MIJ Hybrid 50s Precision, sherwood green, Japan 2021. Sherwood is a great finish: it's rich and dark with a shimmering pearl through it, it always looks so good. Paired with the crisp maple board and a black guard, this is all class. The Hybrid series aimed to unite old and new: vintage styling, modern conveniences. So, you get some old school appointments: reverse tuners, spaghetti logo, heel-end truss adjuster, vintage finishes. You also get some modern stuff: high mass bridge, 10" modern radius, satin finish neck. This one has an ever-reliable Duncan Quarter Pound pickup installed, so it's go no shortage of grumpy growl on deck. It's a thick, hairy tone with a generous attack and a little dollop of sweetness on the top. This is a great gig-ready P, it'll surely bring out the colour of your eyes on stage just right.
