(SOLD) Fender Made in Japan Traditional 60s Jaguar Lake Placid Blue 2020
Fender MIJ Trad 60s Jaguar, lake placid blue, made in Japan 2020. I saw this come up for sale in Japan, and it took me all of two seconds to make the call: I had to buy it for the shop. This model is the spiritual successor to the long-running Fender Japan JG66, with more is less the same spec sheet. The colour was a limited run: you see heaps of red and sunburst examples, but the bright, rich blue is a rare treat. Paired with the mint guard and matching headstock, it looks like an absolute dream. The three way toggle switch mod means you can't accidentally hit the switch and kill the signal, which is handy. Also handy is the buzz stop bar, which saves the strings popping out of place and enhances the low end focus. Tip trick: this won't last long.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor dimples on the end and a mark near the logo on the bottom edge of the front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has a decent dent near the edge on the bottom corner and some light scuffs around the top horn and neck plate. The sides have a few dimples around most of the body from the elbow area around to the bottom horn, as well as a little dent on the top horn. The front has some dimples around the tailpiece, jack and elbow area, as well as some standard play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. The frets have some minor wear, 8/10 for life left. All electrics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49s.
