Fender Jazzmaster, semi hollow JM/HO model, burgundy mist metallic. Take a good look at this one, because it's most likely the only time you'll ever see this model in this finish! The JM/HO was only made for a couple of years and only ever sold to the Japanese domestic market; it's an exceedingly rare model. They sold for around double the price of a standard Jazzmaster, and were usually only offered in black or natural ash finish. This particular example was factory finished in burgundy mist metallic, which must've been a customer or store special order; even trying to find a picture of another one in this finish yields no results. Needless to say, it's jaw-droppingly stunning... the double cream binding sets off the chocolate rosewood board and the shimmering burgundy finish perfectly; it's stupendously saucy from every angle. The ash top and back add some focus and brightness to the midrange, while the semi-hollow construction adds a huge amount of warmth, roundness and magic to the low frequencies. In short, this sounds majestic, amazing, brilliant etc etc... words fail to capture the experience. The satin-finish neck and sensible bridge are a nice touch, adding to the instant comfort and playability of the offset shape. As the famed philosopher M. Mathers once said: "Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted, in one moment...would you capture it or just let it slip?"

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. There's a small scratch on the headstock near the high-e peg. There's a couple of minor dimples on the back of the body, as well as a handful of dimples around the front; nothing noticeable really. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have been played but wear is negligible, 9/10. Wearing fresh 11/49s and in great shape.
