Fender Standard Strat, made in Mexico 2009, olympic white. What you see is exactly what you get here. You can't really go wrong with the white-on-white with rosewood look for a Strat; this has that classic clean aesthetic that appeals to so many of us. The neck is slim, and some modern touches like a 9.5" radius and taller frets offer a bit of extra sizzle for big lead lines. The neck and middle pickups produce a clear, chiming Strat-spank, while the humbucker in the bridge adds a fair bit of extra heft should you require it; handy for those who struggle a little with the crisp cutting tone of a Strat single coil bridge pickup. This should be similar in cost or cheaper than a reasonable new Squier instrument; it's a perfect first or second guitar for a keen player. Easy decision!

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has some marks on the end and scuffs on the back. The neck is pretty clean, just minor dimples; nothing that inhibits play or is really noticeable. The back has some fairly widespread but very minor buckle rash, mostly on and around the cavity cover. The sides are fairly clean with minor dimples only. There's a very small shallow crack in the lacquer only at the neck pocket, nothing to worry about. The front is shiny and clean, just a couple of dimples on the back edge near the pin an jack and some play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have some minor wear only; 7.5/10 for life left. Setup with fresh 10/46 strings.
