Fender Standard Tele, olympic white, made in Mexico 2012. The Standard Series was Fender's go-to midrange Mex-made offering for a really long time, and they're always sturdy, easy playing guitars that get the job done. I like the neck shape: it's a slim modern C, almost with a hint of soft-V to it, with a modern 9.5" radius for easy bends and fast movement. The neck pickup is pretty dark and gooey, while the bridge pickup is snappy and bright with a pronounced midrange... they're very different, but the middle position really works well and has a great balance to it. The lightly worn white finish looks cool, it's always a classic colour and pairs nicely with the golden maple board. If you're after a tasty little T, this will tick the box.
