Fender '57 Reissue Strat, ocean turquoise metallic, crafted in Japan 1996. This little beauty hails from the period that saw Fender Japan's transition from the Fujigen plant to the Tokai plant. The finish looks amazing, it's aged beautifully with some parts reflecting a little more 'yellow' than others. The maple neck and board are so tasty: moderate profile, nicely grained and golden in hue, superbly comfortable. The Texas Special pickups and alder body mean you get a full, rich tone; a little scooped and very cooperative with a bit of overdrive. These maple-board Strats are a wish-list guitar for a lot of players, so this deluxe-model-killer-finish combo means this'll surely make someone very happy.

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. There's a few minor dents and scratches around the body, most notably behind the bridge and near the back-plate. Otherwise fairly clean, nothing too much to report. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have very some minor wear, 8/10. Smooth stuff!
