Fender Jag, sonic blue, made in Japan 2017. We've had some beautiful Jags through, but it's not a massive stretch to call this the prettiest of the lot. Sonic blue has never been a catalog option on Japanese Jags, so if ever one pops up it's either a custom order or a limited edition. It's such a smooth, sassy looking guitar; it absolutely oozes swagger and style. This one dates to 2017, and it's barely been touched; it could easily pass for new. The classic-Jag tones are all there: chime, bite, slap, spank and grizzle, all with the sweet rounded punch of the short scale neck and that signature Jag-jangle. The handy dual-circuit setup allows you to dial in a couple of contrasting tones and easily flick between them; it's nice to have a thick juicy rhythm tone and a sharp lead tone at your fingertips. The offset body and slim neck are superbly comfy; it's hard to beat a good Jag for playability. If you've been on the hunt for a Jag in this slick finish, you'll no doubt be aware there's not many of them: don't wait too long to pull the trigger!

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. The frets have basically no wear on them, they could easily be called 'showroom condition', 9.5/10 for life left. Setup with fresh 11/49s and playing great.
