Fernandes SSH-40 superstrat, made in Japan around 1991, white with matching headstock. Fernandes guitars enjoy a long and storied reputation, they've always been made to a brilliant standard and have released some pretty innovative stuff over the years. This is a cool little superstrat style, so it's got the slim neck with the flatter board radius, slightly pointier horns, a smooth two-point trem and a handy high output passive HSS pickup set. The pickups are great: the singles are hot and fat without being over-the-top, and the splittable humbucker adds a bit of beef when required and offers a singing, defined midrange. It's a super quick player, lightweight and responsive... it all just works. The stark white finish with the matching headstock looks all the better for some yellowing on the clock, it's got a real early nineties aesthetic. Great little shredlord!
