Gibson Firebird V, 2015, vintage sunburst. This is a stunning item! There's something majestic and untamed about this shape; this really flaunts it to great effect. The lightweight multi-piece mahogany body offers some pretty impressive sustain; it feels very alive in the hands. The neck is a wide/thin profile that'll feel familiar to fans of fast-playing guitars like Ibanez RGs and Charvel So-Cals, it's designed to hammer out the quick riffs. The mini-humbuckers dole out a whole lot of chime, growl and bark; the guitar cleans up nicely, but it's certainly most at home with a slathering of overdrive. The 2015-appointments including titanium saddles and the brass zero-fret nut caused a stir in their day, but it all makes a lot of sense in the hands (plus, no robot tuners... phew!) Firebirds are surely awesome, this is awesome, and you'll be more awesome with it in your life.

Model: Gibson Firebird V

Cosmetic condition notes: negligible finish wear. There's one dent on the back horn near the edge of the body, maybe 2mm across and very shallow. Aside from that, just a little play-wear on and around the guard and the occasional dimple here and there. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have very little wear, 9/10 for life left. No headstock breaks. Sweet!
