Gibson LP Special, TV yellow, made in USA 2012. Simple, slick and satisfying. The Les Paul Special was initially a student model, trimmed down visually from the Standard and Custom models. It's a recipe that's aged very nicely: slab mahogany body, two P-90s, VVTT controls and no messing around. This one dates to 2012, so it got the very fun thin satin finish Gibson were doing at the time, as well as some fetching binding around the fretboard. The neck is a slim 60s style shape, which is pretty quick and comfy and will win many fast friends. All the hardware is sturdy and it holds tune nicely. The tone on deck is what we came for: wailing expressive highs, breathy clear midrange, punchy immediate bass. P-90s are so fun, it just never gets old. Very fun.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a bald patch on the end along back edge and some dimples on the front around the posts. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, rub wear on the back only. The back has scuffs on the bottom horn, elbow area and middle of the body, a chip on the back edge near the rear strap pin and some dimples along the bottom edge. The sides have dimples on the top horn, dimples and a dent in the elbow area and some rub wear on the bottom horn. The front has dimples around the tailpiece, pickups and knobs, rub wear on the edge in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
