(ARCHIVE) Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded T Satin Ebony 2016

Gibson LP Studio, satin ebony finish, made in USA 2016. As a rule, LPs sound juicy and thick, but you've gotta be committed: they're heavy. This one, at 3.6kg, is lighter than the Strat I listed earlier today... heck, that's light as a feather in Les Land. It comes with a comfy slim 60s rounded neck and a slick satin finish, so it's an all-round agreeable sort that never feels like a wrestle to play. We've had a fair few black LPs through, but this finish, with the grain showing and it's tendency to wear around the edges nice and quickly, is extra fun. The tone on deck is straight outta the classic Gibson playbook: juicy and thick, heaps of growl, tight lows... yep, that'll work. It's a no nonsense kind of guitar, suitable for all sorts of noisy nonchalant nonsense should you feel inclined to inflict some riffs upon unsuspecting passers by.
