(ARCHIVE) Gibson SG Special Faded Worn Brown 2006

Gibson SG Special, worn brown, made in USA 2006. SG Special is the trimmed down version of the iconic SG Standard, so it's got dot inalys, a gold screened logo, no binding and uncovered pickups. This one is from the Faded series, so it's wearing a coat of lush brown topped in thin satin nitro and designed to age and fade with play. It's in pretty good shape, so you'll have to add some dings and rub wear yourself, but hey, that's good honest work. At 3.3kg it's typically lightweight, but balances nicely both seated and standing and doesn't really 'neck dive'. The tone on offer is dark and thick, with heaps of attack and punch in the low end. With a bright crunchy amp like a Marshall, it's punk perfection. SG = sick goods.
