Greco EG600B LP Custom style, black, made in Japan 1977. This is a stunning vintage LP, it's so good. Greco attracted some exciting correspondence from Gibson over these Gibson style models, as you might expect: they're superbly made takes on the classic 50s and 60s Les Paul models. This has the classic seven ply binding and gold hardware, making the lightly worn gloss black finish really pop, and that ebony board... oh boy. The neck is a slim, comfy sixties dstyle profile, it's perfectly straight and feels superb. At a whisker over 4kg, this is significantly lighter than other Greco LPC examples we've had through, which I feel is a sweet bonus. The Maxon U-1000 pickups are a tasty PAF-style humbucker, they're very responsive and open with great harmonics and warmth. The neck pickup is thick and rich without being vague, while the bridge pickup is growly and snappy without being harsh. I'd be tipping these to continue to rise steadily in value in the next few years, but never mind all that: the biggest thing is that you're going to love playing it.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has some minor scuffs on the end and back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples only. The back has widespread light scuffs but no major marks. The sides are pretty clean, just a couple of dents in the elbow area and near the jack. The front is nice and tidy, just some light scuffs around the edge and near the bridge pickup and some standard play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets are looking great, 8/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
