Greco 'Mint Collection' EGC68-60 LP Custom style, made in Japan 1988-90, ebony finish. This is a stunning take on the 1968 'Black Beauty' Les Paul Custom, made out of the Tokai factory in Japan. The Mint Collection series are very highly regarded for both historical accuracy and superb build quality; they're probably the most 'collectable' line of Greco LPs. This one has kept all the original parts, it's in incredible condition and looks sublime. The slim 60s style neck is perfectly comfortable; it feels brilliant and the attention to detail in the build really shines through. The tone is huge: the neck pickup is thick, saucy and rich, and the bridge adds some delightful crunch and chime; it's magical. This is an excellent guitar, it really does tick all the boxes; LPs don't get a whole lot better than this.
Model: Greco 'Mint Collection' EGC68-60
Made: Japan, 1990 (no serial, date based on specs and catalog, may be 88-89)
Finish: gloss black, cream binding
Neck: mahogany, ebonite board, slim 60s style profile
Body: mahogany, maple cap
Weight: 4.9kg approx
Mods: pickguard removed, truss rod cover, switch surround and knobs replaced
Pickups: original Greco 'Screamin' PAF-style humbuckers

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's a couple of minor scratches on the back in the middle, but really nothing major, just a few dimples around the place. The gold hardware has some discolouration and pitting, and the binding has yellowed with age. Pretty remarkable shape really. Overall: excellent condition (8.5/10)
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have very little wear and are recently polished, 9/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 11/49s, playing super smoothly!
