Gretsch Electromatic Corvette, made in China 2008, burgundy finish. This is a reissue of the original Corvette model from the 60s. It's quite close in feel and look to a Gibson SG: slim profile body, set neck pointy horns... but it has a bit of that classic Gretsch-vibe too. The tone is somewhere between the hi-fi sparkle of a Duo Jet and the dirty aggression of an SG; it's a rock and roll guitar through and through. This one has an upgraded Tonepros bridge and some handy Gotoh tuners, so it's holding tune nicely and feeling great. It's nice and light, and the neck is finished in satin and has a moderately slim round profile to it; it's very comfortable to play and feels well put-together. If you're after a powerful tone for classic rock and don't want to play the same guitar as everyone else, this is a cool option!
