Gretsch Professional Collection Duo Jet, black with Dynasonics, made in Japan in 2003. Holy crap, this is a good looking guitar. The arched maple top and ultra-high-gloss black finish really radiate class, and the always-cool Bigsby tremolo and chrome hardware really complete the picture. These Terada factory Gretsch models are beautifully built; this one really feels classy in the hands. The neck is round and moderate in profile, it's balanced perfectly against the chambered body and all just makes sense when you pick it up. The Dynasonics really sound great: heaps of body and attack, super sensitive to differing attack, open and bright, fairly low on noise... excellent. This is a total stunner in every way. Duo Jets have been rumoured to increase the swagger of their owners by up to 88%.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's a pretty inconsequential ding on the end of the headstock, some scratches on the back, a little play wear on the front; nothing major at all. Electronics covers on the back still have the factory plastic covering. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have very minor wear, they're in great shape, 9/10. Pretty tip-top really!
