Jackson PS-2 performer, black, made in Japan 1995-8. Of course it's black; right? Here we have a great example of the classic 90s shredstick. This has that killer 'Super Strat' combo: super-quick flat, slim neck, Floyd style JT-580 double locking trem, black on black trim. It's a very easy player; we've set it up drop tuned with heavy strings and it's an absolute riff monster. The single coils are articulate and spicy with a nice pluck and attack, and the mysterious bridge humbucker dials out a smooth and beefy low end with a nice dollop of growling angry midrange. If you're after something to polish up all your Megadeath and Metallica riffs on, this is just the ticket.
