Naughty Boy Acrylic SG-Style 2005
Naughty Boy Acrylic SG, made in China around 2005. This came up for sale in Japan, and it's such a fun and ridiculous item that I had to buy it. Naughty Boy popped up as a brand out of China sometime in the mid 2000s, doing a handful of various G-inspired models. It's a perfect crime: clear acrylic body, Bigsby-style trem, blue LED light up inlays... holy heck. It's heavy, as you might have guessed, but not wildly so, and it plays pretty well. The neck feels good and it holds tune well. Plugged in, you get a generous low end kick, as is typical of guitars with this kind of body, which sounds great. It's great for rock, punk or heavy stuff, it has heaps of attack and growl. You've probably got one shot at this one, so hey: are you the messiah? No, you're a very naughty boy.
