Onyx T-style, pearl white, made in Korea circa 1988. Pretty cool hey? Onyx was an Australian brand, attached to a music wholesaler in the 80s and 90s and produced out of the Samick factory in Korea. They did some pretty cool models and finishes, as evidenced by this pretty cool cucumber. The bound body, pearl finish and super slick red tort guard make for a stylish look, it's very cool. The pickups are pretty good too, it's got a pretty hi-fi sound with a generous attack and plenty of shimmer up top. The neck is a moderate C style shape, not super skinny but not a baseball bat, and it feels agreeable in the hands. There's a lot to like here, it's a super cute little thing for not many buckos.
