Profile Strat style, fiesta red, made in Korea 1989 approx. The Profile brand was masterminded by Australian distributor Dynamic Music. Back in the early 80s, they commissioned some super accurate Fender copies from a manufacturer in Japan and sold them on the Australian market. Later ones, like this example, were made in Korea, but they're still really nicely put together. This is a pretty close copy of the 1962 Strat, so you get a moderately C style neck with a tasty rosewood board, paired with a classic SSS pickup setup and a three-ply guard. It plays really nicely: the neck is sturdy and slick and feels classy, the body is resonant and agreeable in the hands... it just kinda all works. Plugged in, there's a tasty sparkle on the top end and a pretty well balanced warm midrange. The finish has yellowed and faded a bit over the decades, but there's remarkably little wear. This is a super cool little Strat for barely any cash, so if you're after a handy beginner guitar or a platform for your mad scientist modding adventures, this would be a handy friend to have.

The back has a few light scuffs but no major marks. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
