(ARCHIVE) Reverend Sensei Jr Midnight Black 2021
- Description
- Guitarchives
Reverend Sensei Jr, black, made in Korea circa 2021. Reverend do some of the coolest looking guitars around on the current market, they've got some really original shapes. The Sensei Jr borrows a little from the classic Gibson Les Paul Junior, but it's got a slightly wonky offset body, some super practical high quality hardware and some fun visual details like the bound top and block inlays. The engine room of the sound is a body and neck made from korina paired with a single soapbar pickup. Korina is lightweight but naturally resonant, with a rich response that offers excellent clarity through the highs and upper mids lending this a joyous singing clairty and complexity. There's a bass contour control in addition to the regular tone control, so you can add extra beef and punch as you roll that up, offering a bit more fatness than a regular single pickup offering. The tuxedo aesthetic looks great, I hope you're got a swish jacket to match.
