Rickenbacker 330, fireglo finish, made in USA 2011. I love a 330, they're one of the best looking classic models going around. This one dates to 2011 and is in very tidy condition. The rich fireglo finish looks outstanding: it's a vibrant cherry-lipstick red around the edges and a warm winter hearth orange in the middle, and the classic Ric details like the R-tailpiece, gloss rosewood board, big horns and not-F-hole always look like a million bucks. The neck is a slim at the nut but with a deep rounded D shape, typical of a Ric for those familiar, and it's comfy and agreeable once you get used to it. The tone on offer is pretty unmistakable: a girthy jangle, if such a thing can exist. There's a thick rounded bass response paired with a chiming, shimmery treble and a chewy, expressive midrange. Nothing does big classic open chord rock rhythm parts like a 330, it's very satisfying. Needless to say, there's not many around these parts, so be quick.
